Li Bifeng-Invisible Walls, Whose Walls?
Artist
Doug Johnson
Medium
Drawing - Pen And Ink
Description
Li BiFeng is a poet jailed for his opinions. The piece is a fractal that transforms the open book of information into the bricks of a jail cell. We are all in some sort of prison depending on how we either open or close our minds to new ideas. The bookmarks turn to bars. In this piece they have quotes from Lao Tzu and Confucius to remind us all of wisdom and more understanding.
