La Llorona is a Mexican myth about a woman who lost her children to drowning in a river and is forever crying and going up and down the river bank searching for them. My using drawing techniques of M.C. Escher the piece eternally keeps a flow of tears in the eyes of the ancient ones for those people have lost.

Doug Johnson as the founding editor of Cave Moon Press, started helping poets with book design, illustration and artwork ten years ago.
